Optimizing Google Ads for a client in health care industry

I recently worked with a client in health care industry to help them address two main challenges: decreasing their cost per lead and increasing their conversion rate. Their existing Google Ads campaigns were underperforming, with a high cost per lead and a relatively low click-through rate (CTR). Here’s how I tackled the problem and achieved remarkable results.

The Situation (Before Optimization)

  • Cost per lead: $36.10
  • CTR: 4.05%

My Optimization Plan

I created a new campaign using (STAGs) and implemented the following optimizations:

  • Using Phrase & Exact Match Keywords.
  • Search for negative keywords for each keyword to Prevent irrelevant clicks.
  • Created a personalized landing page and optimized it for SEO.
  • Dynamic Keyword Insertion.
  • Countdown Feature.

The Results (After Optimization)

  • Total Leads: 60
  • Cost per Lead: $2.85
  • CTR: 9.66%
  • Conversion Rate: 6.92%

By focusing on precise keyword targeting, personalized landing pages, and optimizing ad urgency, I was able to reduce the cost per lead by an astounding 92.11% and improve their CTR by 138.52%.
